Hi everyone, FYI, I stopped by Bristol Foodcourt yesterday Jan. 2nd 2025, noticed Pacific Bakery has been closed due to Bristol Foodcourt's plumbing issues. The entire Foodcourt also closed. They said reopening will be updated later next week.

This is a small Vietnamese-owned bakery shop in the middle of a food court in the Bristol swap mall. It's a few stalls down on the right when you walk in. There's plenty of parking outside. They also always have it available - whenever I call to try and reserve a cake, they tell me just to come in whenever. The fruits always taste fresh and sweet, and the crunchy part is always the perfect amount of crunch. They even write on it upon request. I've been getting the fruit cake here for years for events or parties at work, and the fruit cake here never fails. There's always someone that asks where this cake is from. I have yet to meet someone that doesn't like this cake. Highly recommend.

They specialize in a sheet cake that is like a cross between a fruit tart and your favorite not-too-sweet Asian cake. For the size, freshness, texture, variety of fruit, and flavor, it is VERY reasonably priced. We purchased this cake for my kid's birthday party the last few years and it has always been a hit with everyone asking where we got the cake from. This year we fed 46 adults and around 20 toddlers with the second-to-smallest cake ($68). I did see a some people take more than one piece! I would NOT recommend getting this cake a day ahead of your event because the crispy layers in the middle will not stay be crispy anymore. Definitely pick up on the day of!

My fellow Yelp friend Cat N. is one of my most trusted sources when it comes to finding the best places to eat. Pacific Bakery is one of them. Thank you, Cat! Their puff pastry fruit cake is far superior compared to Long Phung Bakery that I used to go to. Their puff pastry is crisper and lasts the whole day in the fridge without losing its crisp! I also prefer the cream that they use on top. It has a slight salty taste to it, which goes so well with the rest of the cake. I only bought their $4 slice to try, and it's just the perfect size for me! I'm glad they offer single slices because I want to be able to eat it more regularly and not waste an entire 1/4 sheet cake. Pacific Bakery is not only better in taste and quality, but Their prices are cheaper than Long Phung! I highly recommend the puff pastry fruit cake from Pacific Bakery! Keep in mind that the puff pastry does lose a lot of its fresh crisp overnight, so it's best to eat it the same day you purchase it.
